Great report with not so good print quality

A caution note about purchasing The Briem Report: Letterforms 2012 through Amazon:
Don't. Not yet anyway until the kinks get worked out. My purchased copy had a problem of an apparent "print on demand" factor. Missing fonts. Especially the Table of Contents and poor Paul Shaw's feature. Everything was "greek'd" in lines and lines of printed rectangles or x's. No words.
Otherwise, it's fantastic and worth getting. Even though the printed version is in greyscale, the spreads and photos convey well enough. Each artist has his own 2-page spread. Features include Alan Blackman, Gunnlaugur SE Briem, Gareth Colgan, Ward Dunham (and his wife, Linnea Lundquist), Christopher Haanes,Thomas Hoyer, John Stevens, Julian Waters, and Sheila Waters ... to name a precious few out of the myriad that can be found.
Topics range from penmanship improvement, graffiti, stone carving, type design, to innovative uses for handwritten calligraphy... a truly interesting read and report on the trends occurring within these fields.
I'm probably going to download the hi-res version from Operina.com and print it out for myself (there are links to the low-res small size file and the high-res print quality files). Then everything translates correctly, AND it'll be in full color, which does add a level of richness to the report.

After contacting Amazon about the printing problem, they stated to return the defective book. Meanwhile, they would send out a new copy. 24 hours later and I have a new copy... perfect in every way! Thank you, Amazon, for having fantastic customer service!
