More colored images will be perfect, but for a 2001 book, it's an excellent one.
I suggest it for courses and lectures preparation. The exercices at the end of each chapters are also interesting.

Loved it because it touched the very basics. The clinical cases were very interesting and stimulating. I quite liked the subtle humor too! Very rare in medical books !!!

The most valuable endocrine text I own

This is easily the best endocrinology book I use in preparing lectures. The "case" approach and beautiful photos help to make endocrinology come alive and provide powerful lessons on the integrative aspects of this discipline. Truly wonderful.
