She loves me is truley Loveable!

This is the vocal selections for she loves me. This is a musical that is based on a book called she loves me. There is also a movie with Judy Garland in it (non musical) (can't think of the title right now) but it is about this lady named Amalia and a man names george. they both work in Maraczeks Parfumerie. George has been writing letters to a "dear friend" as well as amliea . amelia decides to meet her dear friend at a resturant. she is to wear a red rose on her jacket. her freind will also wear a rose. she watis and watis and he never shows up, then goerge from work appears and sits with her. (he is her dear friend but she doesn't know it yet) she accuses him of scaring away her friend. she eventauly finds out that he is her dear friend and they "live happily ever after" the great songs included are: WILL HE LIKE ME, DEAR FRIEND, ICE CREAM*, SHE LOVES ME, A TRIP TO THE LIBRARY, AND ILONA. my favorite is ICE CREAM it is cute song of amelia writing a letter to her dear friend apologising for the horrible evening that never happend. however she can't stop thinking about geroge and how nice he was that he bought her vanilla ice cream to make her feel better. its cute and very funny. a great line from that song is ..."I sat there waiting in that cafe and never guessing that you were fat... that you were near you were outside looking bald...oh my dear friend..." most of the music in this selection is for a soprano woman. A trip to the library is for a mezzo soprano, and there are 2 songs for a tenor man. this is not campy music it is cute make you feel good music. if you want to relate it to a popular singer today think more Nellie Fertato (like a bird song).

I can't believe it has never been thought of before!

I must admit I am not much of a baker. But I also have to say this book helps make it easier. Elegant and Simple

Cooking intimidates me. I can do it when I put my mind to it. I just don't like to mess with it. HOWEVER - I love entertaining and giving gifts, especially this time of the year (December). So I've got a problem. Then - here comes this book - this beautiful, gorgeous, clearly written, sensible, fun book. Ms. Hickman has come up with a very simple concept: you reduce the mystery of cooking, especially of cooking the bright, charming things, to a very understandable basic foundation. And once you get that very simple foundation down, there is no limit to what you can do - last minute gifts, elegant party desserts. You can amaze yourself. Even for people who have been cooks all their lives, this approach will save them precious time. You can even take recipes that are your true-blue fall back dependable ones and adapt them to this very simple way of going about it. The book itself it GOR-GEOUS. The photography is yummy, the layout is clear and elegant. Heck - I FEEL elegant just reading the thing. Every person who ever bakes should have this book. And I was worried about cooking with the Kindle? Ha. You prop it up like you would a recipe card or book - and if you get it splattered (that's not an "if" in my case), you just wipe it off. The dogs will no longer be tempted to chew up your favorite recipes. This is a huge plus for me - yeah, I know. Go ahead and snicker, but it's true. Anyway, this just really is a beautiful book, inside and out.

I like this BUT. . .

I love the idea of this book - I like mixes and having things ready to bake quick and these look like good recipes. My only problem with this book is that it is only available on Kindle. That means if I want to look up a recipe I have to get out the book I am reading - find this book in the list and then either flip pages or look in index to find which recipe I wanted. When finished I have to go back and find my book. It would be great if I had the option of printing the recipes - they would be so much easier to use. Too bad because I think this is really is a really great idea and I would so love it in print.

About the Author

Dr. Neven Kresic is the incoming vice president of the American Institute of Hydrology for International Affairs cooperating with UNESCO, and the International Water Association on world groundwater affairs. He is a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and a permanent member of the Karst Commission. A senior principal and professional hydrogeologist, Dr. Kresic has more than two decades of groundwater and surface water-related consulting, research, and teaching experience, including major projects in the United States, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and North Africa. He has worked with U.S. and international clients, including federal, state, and local agencies, and industries such as water, transportation, and power utilities, and oil, petrochemical, chemical, and construction companies.

In addition to numerous scientific and professional papers, Dr. Kresic has authored five books including Groundwater Resources: Sustainability, Management and Restoration (McGraw-Hill). He was a professor at Belgrade University, Yugoslavia and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas, where he taught courses in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, and groundwater remediation.

Superbly written. Excellent spacial imagery realistic timeline and tangible characters. Doesn't try too hard but instead let's the character write the story. After reading this book I automatically bought the other 3 in the series and I was just as impressed!

A good offering from an excellent author

Without Warning is the first book in KG MacGregor's Shaken trilogy. It starts with the two main characters trapped in a collapsed building, with the escape long enough to be realistic but still only a small part of the book. The remainder develops the relationship with some tension but little angst. The characters are likeable and have depth, and the dialogue is light and humorous (though the uber Xena references are unnecessary). An excellent book by an author with an entirely justified reputation for good quality lesbian romances.

This book is a good source for the architects and developers who are in business for an open air shopping complex. It gives ideas and examples from different aspects such as development, feasibility analysis and design elements. Case studies include description, development strategy and design features of the project. Probably one of the most useful chapters is the comparative analysis of the examined cases from the points of cost/blocks, land user areas, benefits and degree of success. On the other hand, I think this book should be in color.

Alison Davies is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a background in mental health work for an NHS Trust. Eleanor Richards is a senior music therapist in the Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Lifespan NHS Trust, Cambridge. She is currently training as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. Both authors have been involved in introducing music therapy into the St Columba Group Therapy Centre in Cambridge.
